This dataset represents a ternary image of potassium (K), thorium (Th), and uranium (U) concentrations across New Brunswick at 50\u202fm resolution, derived from a compilation of NRCan airborne radiometric surveys originally flown at 1000\u202fm line spacing (base compilation) and supplemented with higher-resolution surveys flown at 300\u202fm line spacing or less. Each band corresponds to one element (Band 1 = K, Band 2 = Th, Band 3 = U) and the image provides a visual tool for interpreting relative abundances and spatial relationships of these key radiogenic elements. The dataset is provided in NB Stereographic double (NAD83) for consistent province-wide coverage.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

The NB_Ternary_KThU_50m raster was produced by compiling individual NRCan radiometric survey grids for K, Th, and U, microlevelling line-to-line variations, and interpolating the results to a seamless 50\u202fm cell-size raster. The three element grids were combined into a single ternary image, exported as a multi-band TIFF, and projected to NB Stereographic double (NAD83).<\/SPAN><\/P>

The dataset is not updated regularly. Updates occur only if new reprocessing, corrections, or additional surveys become available.
