Description: This feature class contains waterbody polygon geometry for New Brunswick lakes, rivers, tidal rivers, ponds, saltwater lakes, and ocean polygons. It was derived from the New Brunswick Hydrographic Network (NBHN) waterbody feature class NBHN_0000_02_Wb on November 15, 2012. At the time of creation of this feature class, the geometry of the two data sets was identical except that any overlapping wetland polygons such as Tidal Flats, Rocky Shores, and Aquatic Beds have been removed from this one. At any time after time of creation this dataset may become out of date as all editing will be done only to the NBHN data set.
