Description: These polygons denote areas that are not available for new blueberry leases due to political pressure/protest from area residents. Due to this backlash, it was decided that these areas of the province would not be available made available for blueberry development for the foreseeable future. To communicate this to the public as part of a new web app being developed, the feature class was created to represent the areas that would be excluded from the program.Area was digitized Jan 2024 based on input from DAAF staff.
