Service Description: A 200 m grid of residual magnetic intensity (RMI) for New Brunswick, showing magnetic anomalies after trend removal.This dataset represents the residual magnetic intensity (RMI) for the province of New Brunswick at 200 m resolution. It was derived from NRCan airborne magnetic surveys originally flown at 800–1000 m line spacing. The RMI is calculated by removing a second-order regional trend from the total magnetic intensity (TMI), highlighting local magnetic variations. The dataset is provided in NB Stereographic double (NAD83) for consistent province-wide coverage. The RMI grid was produced from existing NRCan TMI survey grids, converted to ER Mapper format, reprojected to NB Stereographic double, and processed by removing a second-order trend from the TMI values.Data created Sept 2025.
