description: A 50 m grid of the first vertical derivative of the reduction-to-the-pole (RTP) magnetic intensity for New Brunswick.This dataset represents the first vertical derivative of the reduction-to-the-pole (RTP) magnetic intensity for New Brunswick at 50 m resolution, derived from high-resolution airborne magnetic surveys flown at 200–300 m line spacing. The RTP_1VD enhances short-wavelength, near-surface magnetic features and sharpens anomaly edges, supporting detailed geological interpretation. The dataset is provided in NB Stereographic double (NAD83).The RTP_1VD grid was created from NRCan airborne profile data that were microlevelled and gridded at 50 m, converted to ER Mapper format, reprojected to NB Stereographic double, processed using reduction-to-the-pole, and then differentiated vertically to produce the first vertical derivative.Data created Sept 2025.
