Service Description: A 50 m grid of the total gradient (analytic signal) of total magnetic intensity (TMI) for New Brunswick.This dataset represents the analytic signal (total gradient) of total magnetic intensity (TMI) for New Brunswick at 50 m resolution, derived from high-resolution airborne magnetic surveys flown at 200–300 m line spacing. The TMI_AS highlights the positions and edges of magnetic sources, independent of magnetization direction, providing detailed information for geological and structural interpretation. The dataset is provided in NB Stereographic double (NAD83).The TMI_AS grid was created from NRCan airborne profile data that were microlevelled and gridded at 50 m, converted to ER Mapper format, reprojected to NB Stereographic double, and processed to calculate the total gradient (analytic signal) from the TMI values.Data created Sept 2025.
