Service Description: A grid of the reduction-to-the-pole (RTP) magnetic intensity for the Bathurst Megatem survey.This dataset represents the reduction-to-the-pole (RTP) of total magnetic intensity for the Bathurst Megatem airborne survey in New Brunswick. RTP processing repositions magnetic anomalies directly over their causative sources, simplifying geological interpretation and enhancing the clarity of subsurface structures. The dataset is provided in NB Stereographic Double, NAD83. The RTP grid was created from the Bathurst Megatem survey by microlevelling the TMI (Mag_miclev), converting it to a grid, and applying reduction-to-the-pole processing using the magnetic inclination and declination from the IGRF model. The final grid is provided in NB Stereographic Double, NAD83.Data created Sept 2025.
