Service Description: A grid of the total gradient (analytic signal) of total magnetic intensity (TMI) for the Bathurst Megatem survey. This dataset represents the analytic signal (also referred to as the total gradient) derived from the microlevelled total magnetic intensity (TMI) of the Bathurst Megatem Aerodat airborne magnetic survey. The analytic signal enhances the magnitude of magnetic gradients by combining the horizontal and vertical derivatives of the magnetic field, producing an amplitude response that peaks directly over magnetic sources regardless of magnetization direction. This makes it a valuable tool for mapping contacts, structural features, and magnetized bodies within the Bathurst region. The data were reprocessed, gridded, and reprojected to the NB Stereographic Double coordinate system to support interpretation and integration in the high-resolution compilation.Derived from the microlevelled TMI channel of the original Aerodat Megatem survey; processed by computing the analytic signal (total gradient) using standard derivative filters, then gridded and reprojected from NAD83 UTM19N to NB Stereographic Double.Data created Sept 2025.
