Service Description: This dataset represents the residual component of the complete Bouguer gravity anomaly (density 2.8 g/cc) for New Brunswick, derived from the GGMplus satellite gravity model and gridded at 100-meter resolution in NAD83 NB Stereographic projection.The dataset provides the short-wavelength residual gravity anomalies obtained by removing the regional component from the complete Bouguer gravity grid. This highlights shallow geological structures, including faults, lithological contacts, and intrusive bodies, making it useful for detailed geological interpretation and mineral exploration. The dataset is provided in NAD83 NB Stereographic double projection with 100-meter grid resolution.The dataset was produced using the GGMplus satellite gravity model, which provides Free Air anomalies. Bouguer and terrain corrections were applied using SRTM topography and a density of 2.8 g/cc to produce the complete Bouguer anomaly grid. A regional field was generated using upward continuation to isolate long-wavelength features. The residual anomaly grid was calculated by subtracting the regional component from the complete Bouguer anomaly. The final grid was resampled to 100 meters and projected into NAD83 NB Stereographic, producing the dataset.Data created Sept 2025.
