A 1000 m grid of airborne radiometric uranium-to-thorium (U/Th) ratios for the Beadle Mountain survey area, New Brunswick (1978).
This dataset represents the spatial distribution of uranium-to-thorium (U/Th) ratios derived from the Beadle Mountain airborne radiometric survey flown in 1978 at 1000 m line spacing. The U/Th ratio highlights variations between uranium and thorium abundances within the survey area and supports interpretation of lithological variations and alteration patterns. The dataset is provided in NB Stereographic double (NAD83) for consistent integration with provincial datasets.
The BeadleMountain_UTh_ratio raster was produced by dividing the compiled uranium (U) raster by the compiled thorium (Th) raster at each 1000 m cell. The underlying survey data were microlevled and interpolated to produce seamless 1000 m grids prior to ratio calculation. The final raster was delivered as a .ers file in NB Stereographic double (NAD83).
The dataset is not updated regularly. Updates occur only if new reprocessing, corrections, or additional surveys become available. As of now, the compilation represents the most recent processing as of December 2025.
