A 500–1000 m grid of airborne radiometric uranium-to-potassium (U/K) ratios for the Central New Brunswick and Fredericton survey area, New Brunswick (2008).
This dataset represents the spatial distribution of uranium-to-potassium (U/K) ratios derived from the Central New Brunswick and Fredericton airborne radiometric survey flown in 2008 at 500–1000 m line spacing. The U/K ratio highlights variations between uranium and potassium abundances within the survey area and supports interpretation of lithological variations and alteration patterns. The dataset is provided in NB Stereographic double (NAD83) for consistent integration with provincial datasets.
The CentralNB_UK_ratio raster was produced by dividing the compiled uranium (U) raster by the compiled potassium (K) raster at each 500–1000 m cell. The underlying survey data were microlevled and interpolated to produce seamless 500–1000 m grids prior to ratio calculation. The final raster was delivered as a .ers file in NB Stereographic double (NAD83).
The dataset is not updated regularly. Updates occur only if new reprocessing, corrections, or additional surveys become available. As of now, the compilation represents the most recent processing as of December 2025.
