Service Description: This dataset shows the boundaries for peat leases and peat exploration licences on Crown lands in New Brunswick. A peat exploration licence grants the holder the exclusive right to conduct field tests to determine whether the quality and volume of peat in a specified area are suitable for the intended use. A peat lease allows the holder to extract or remove peat from Crown lands.
