Service Description: A grid of total magnetic intensity (TMI) from the Marrtown 2004 airborne magnetic survey, reprocessed and projected to NB Stereographic Double, NAD83.This dataset represents the total magnetic intensity (TMI) acquired during the Marrtown 2004 airborne magnetic survey. TMI captures variations in the Earth’s magnetic field related to changes in lithology, structure, and magnetic mineral content, and is a key dataset for interpreting local and regional geology. As part of the 2025 reprocessing workflow, the original magnetic data were microlevelled to reduce survey noise and line-to-line artifacts. The cleaned dataset was then gridded and reprojected to NB Stereographic Double to support integration with New Brunswick’s high-resolution magnetic compilation.The TMI grid was generated by microlevelling the original TMI channel, converting the corrected magnetic data into a grid, and reprojecting it from the original NAD83 UTM Zone 19N coordinate system into NB Stereographic Double, NAD83.Data created Sept 2025.
