Service Description: This dataset represents the regional component of the complete Bouguer gravity anomaly (density 2.8 g/cc) for New Brunswick, derived from reprocessed ground gravity data in NB Stereographic coordinates.The dataset contains the regional complete Bouguer gravity anomaly for New Brunswick, calculated from uniformly reprocessed ground-based gravity measurements. Marine gravity stations were excluded to avoid uncertainties related to bathymetry. The regional gravity field was derived from the complete Bouguer anomaly (density 2.8 g/cc) using upward continuation with a wavelength of 30 km, emphasizing long-wavelength crustal-scale features. The data are provided as a gridded product at 1 km cell size and are referenced to NAD83, New Brunswick Stereographic double, allowing consistent integration with other provincial geophysical datasets.Original ground gravity data were obtained from the Geological Survey of Canada geophysical data repository and reprocessed in September 2025. Elevations from an SRTM digital elevation model were used to recompute Free Air and Bouguer anomalies and terrain corrections, assuming a density of 2.8 g/cc, after masking marine stations. The complete Bouguer anomaly grid was generated at 1 km resolution, and the regional component was extracted by applying a 30 km upward continuation filter.Data created Sept 2025.
