Service Description: This dataset represents the Free Air gravity anomaly recalculated for ground gravity stations across New Brunswick.The dataset provides Free Air anomaly values derived from reprocessed ground gravity measurements in New Brunswick. The Free Air anomaly corrects observed gravity for elevation above sea level and highlights broad regional variations in the gravity field related to large-scale crustal structure. This dataset serves as a foundational gravity product for geological interpretation and supports studies of crustal architecture, basin geometry, and regional density variations. It is provided in the NAD83 NB Stereographic double projection.The data originated from ground gravity stations downloaded from the GSC server and was reprocessed in September 2025. SRTM topography was sampled at each station location, and Free Air corrections were recalculated using the standard 0.3086 mGal per meter formula. Latitude corrections were applied, and the updated Free Air anomaly values were computed from the adjusted gravity measurements. The final values were exported in NAD83 NB Stereographic, producing the dataset.Data created Sept 2025.
