Service Description: This dataset represents the Bouguer gravity anomaly (density 2.8 g/cc) for New Brunswick derived from the GGMplus satellite gravity model, gridded at 100-meter resolution in NAD83 NB Stereographic projection.The dataset provides Bouguer gravity anomalies calculated from the GGMplus satellite gravity model over New Brunswick. The anomalies account for variations in gravity due to topography and are reduced using a Bouguer correction with a density of 2.8 g/cc. This dataset is suitable for regional geophysical interpretation, structural mapping, and mineral exploration, offering consistent high-resolution coverage across the province. The grid is provided in NAD83 NB Stereographic double projection and facilitates integration with other geophysical and geological datasets.The dataset was generated using the GGMplus satellite gravity model, which provides free-fall gravity acceleration equivalent to Free Air anomalies. A Bouguer correction was calculated for each location using SRTM elevation data and a density of 2.8 g/cc. Terrain corrections were computed from the same DEM, and the resulting Bouguer anomaly grid was resampled to 100 meters and projected into NAD83 NB Stereographic to create the dataset.Data created Sept 2025.
