Service Description: This dataset represents the Free Air gravity anomaly for New Brunswick, derived from the GGMplus satellite gravity model and gridded at 100-meter resolution in NAD83 NB Stereographic projection. The dataset provides Free Air gravity anomalies calculated from the GGMplus satellite gravity model. The Free Air anomaly corrects gravity measurements for elevation, highlighting broad-scale variations in the gravity field related to regional crustal density differences. This dataset is suitable for geological interpretation, crustal studies, and integration with Bouguer and complete Bouguer anomalies for exploration purposes. The grid is provided in NAD83 NB Stereographic double projection with 100-meter resolution. The dataset was generated using the GGMplus satellite gravity model, which provides free-fall gravity acceleration equivalent to Free Air anomalies. The data were gridded at 100-meter resolution and projected into NAD83 NB Stereographic to produce the dataset. No additional corrections were applied beyond the model’s native Free Air gravity values.Data created Sept 2025.
