Service Description: This dataset represents the Shape Index derived from the FTG/AGG gravity tensor for the Bell BMC2010 survey in New Brunswick, gridded at 25-meter resolution in NAD83 NB Stereographic projection.The dataset provides the Shape Index calculated from the gravity tensor components of the Bell BMC2010 FTG/AGG survey. The Shape Index quantifies the geometric characteristics of the local gravity field, highlighting near-surface structural features such as faults, contacts, and intrusive bodies. The dataset is intended for detailed structural interpretation and mineral exploration and is provided in NAD83 NB Stereographic double projection with high-resolution 25-meter spacing.The dataset was produced from the Bell BMC2010 FTG/AGG survey by first constructing the gravity tensor from the raw gradiometry profile data and interpolating it into a regular 25-meter grid. Individual tensor components (Txx, Txy, Txz, Tyy, Tyz, Tzz) were extracted, and the Shape Index was calculated following the method of Cevallos (2014). The final Shape Index grid was exported in ER Mapper format, providing a high-resolution measure of the local curvature and geometry of the gravity field.Data created Sept 2025.
