A 200 m grid of airborne radiometric thorium-to-potassium (Th/K) ratios for the Bathurst survey area, New Brunswick (1995).
This dataset represents the spatial distribution of thorium-to-potassium (Th/K) ratios derived from the Bathurst airborne radiometric survey flown in 1995 at 200 m line spacing. The Th/K ratio highlights variations between thorium and potassium abundances within the survey area and supports interpretation of lithological variations and alteration patterns. The dataset is provided in NB Stereographic double (NAD83) for consistent integration with provincial datasets.
The Bathurst_ThK_ratio raster was produced by dividing the compiled thorium (Th) raster by the compiled potassium (K) raster at each 200 m cell. The underlying survey data were microlevelled and interpolated to produce seamless 200 m grids prior to ratio calculation. The final raster was delivered as a .ers file in NB Stereographic double (NAD83).
The dataset is not updated regularly. Updates occur only if new reprocessing, corrections, or additional surveys become available. As of now, the compilation represents the most recent processing as of December 2025.
