Service Description: This layer contains polygon features that represent areas of numerous outcrop observations. These data are historical; in areas where numerous outcrop observations were recorded, rather than displaying crowded observation stations, a polygon was drawn around them. The polygons may represent areas of outcrop, or several separate outcrops in relatively close proximity. This layer can be used to supplement the legacy Station Type layer
