Description: These data are historical. In areas where numerous outcrop observations were recorded, rather than displaying crowded observation stations, a polygon was drawn to encompassed them. The polygons may represent contiguous areas of outcrop, or several separate outcrops in relatively close proximity. This layer can be used to supplement the Legacy Station Typelayer (LEGStationType).Rather than displaying crowded observation stations, a polygon was created, which encompassed the numerous outcrop observations. This layer should not be considered a comprehensive interpretation of areas where bedrock occurs at surface.
